Paint (especially white) can take things from drab to fab. Have I already said that? Well, here’s another example:
I bought this beat-up magazine rack at a Goodwill store. I quickly sanded it, then painted it with Zinsser primer and a few coats of white paint. It was a bit of a pain to paint all the cut-outs on the sides, but the cut-outs were what drew me to this piece in the first place.
